The Job :

As a Key Production Planner, you'll be part of our Aerospace team working as an onsite employee. You'll get to :

• Review open sales orders to determine customer requirements.
• Take ownership to coordinate delivery of parts to expedite flow of material to meet production schedule.
• Execute MRB messages to push, pull, or release work orders and release manufacturing work orders to the warehouse for kit picking.
• Collaborate with appropriate teams to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly goals are met. Create action plans to ensure goals are met and ensure follow through and completion of actions.
• Coordinate between warehouse and purchasing on material shortages and notify Sales of any schedule impacts to customers.
• Proactively coordinate / expedite manufacturing builds to ensure schedules are achieved.
• Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
• Follow all policies and procedures; initiate changes to existing processes to improve overall effectiveness.
• Production and Processing Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Proficient use of computer systems and software applications and in-depth knowledge of ERP or MRP software preferred.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Will take action and bring solutions to meetings as required.
• Other duties as assigned to meet department and facility goals.
