Circuit Breaker Tech I

Position Summary

The Circuit Breaker Technician I will be troubleshooting and testing low voltage circuit breakers. This position will also test author test reports and troubleshoot electromechanical components and sub-assemblies. Following all safety rules and best practices the Technician will report to the Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance on electric circuit breakers across a broad spectrum of manufacturers.
• Final electrical and mechanical functional tests may also be required.
• Hands on inspection dismantling cleaning repair reassembly and calibration of all types of electric circuit breakers.
• Perform basic electrical testing to ensure proper operation of the circuit breaker in accordance with customer requirements test and troubleshoot circuit breakers and auxiliary devices calibrate to OEM guidelines.
• Prepare circuit breaker test sheet documenting all as found and as left conditions and testing results.
• Maintain strong client relationships through quality and quantity of work performed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation : Pay for a Circuit Breaker Tech I is $22 to $24 per hour

Relocation : No relocation for this role.
