Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time Special Education teaching opportunity is available for the 2024-2025 school year in the Fort Mill, SC area. The position involves working onsite within K-12 schools, supporting students in self-contained Multi-Categorical (Multi-Cat) classrooms.

Key Responsibilities :

• Teach and manage Multi-Cat self-contained classrooms at elementary and high school levels.
• At the elementary level, support a classroom of approximately 8 students with the assistance of a classroom aide.
• At the high school level, manage a class within the employability program, which includes a three-class rotation serving about 15 students with one assistant.
• Serve as a case manager for assigned students, collaborating closely with support staff to meet individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment tailored to diverse student needs.

Qualifications and Experience :

Location : Fort Mill, SC area (onsite only).

This contract position is set for the full continuation school year from January 5, 2025, through June 3, 2026. Two openings are available for educators ready to contribute to students academic and social development within specialized settings.
