Job Overview

As Production Manager (2nd shift), you will lead the high-volume production of our innovative EV vehicle platforms during the second shift manufacturing operations. This role requires a skilled, relentless problem-solver and hands-on leader dedicated to operational excellence, safety, quality and productivity in a dynamic, high-pressure environment. You will play a critical role in achieving our mission to redefine sustainable commercial transportation.

What You'll Do :

• Shift Ownership : Own all aspects of second shift production, ensuring safe, efficient operation and meeting daily production targets (safety, quality, delivery, cycle time and uptime).
• Team Leadership : Lead and develop a team of supervisors and associates. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Operational Excellence : Implement and sustain lean manufacturing principles (5S, standardized work) to optimize processes, reduce waste, and maximize throughput.
• Problem-Solving : Proactively identify and resolve production bottlenecks. Implement root cause corrective actions to maintain process stability.
• Quality & Safety : Champion a safety-first culture. Drive relentless quality assurance, ensuring all vehicles meet exacting standards and addressing deviations immediately.
• Cross-Functional Partnership : Collaborate effectively with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and Facilities to resolve issues and successfully implement process changes.
• Data Analysis : Utilize production data (OEE, scrap rates) to analyze performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions for operational improvement.
