You will join a creative Development team building exciting changes in the Insurance industry. You will be coding changes for existing and new web applications and services that help improve our customer’s experience.

Essential Job Functions / Requirements :
- Minimum 3 years of experience with .NET / C# and Web API coding, working with .Net Framework and .Net Core.
- Knowledgeable of coding best practices, cloud environments (preferably Azure) and code branch processes (Git).
- Desire to take ownership work activities and code changes.
- SQL / RDBMS and ORM experience.
- Ability to collaborate with others including Developers, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance testers and Business owners.
- Proactively address technical issues and risks that could impact production applications and integrity of the application environment.
- Prioritize your work activities and efficiently manage your time.
- Ability to speak and write in English.
U.S. Citizen or Authorized to work / reside in the United States.
Responsibilities :
- Research, design and code changes and enhancements to web-based applications and backend support systems.
- Complete assigned work on time and on budget.
- Document code changes and include full unit / integration test coverage.
- Write idempotent TSQL scripts to run alongside DB schema updates.
- Research anomalies identified by the Business and Quality Assurance teams.
- Proactively address questions, identify risks and determine solutions while coding.
- Create and update JIRA tickets.
Participate in Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, periodic demonstrations, planning meetings and retrospectives).
Optional / Preferred :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another technical field.
- Insurance industry background.
Experience with React UI development, JIRA, Bitbucket and Azure.
