[job_card.job_description]PCU / MS / ED Hold-Float Pool Minimum Experience : 2 years - Unit doesn't accept first time travelers Patient Population : Adults to Geriatrics Ratio : 1 : 4-1 / 6 Unit Systems : Pyxis, EPIC & SBAR Unit Description : This position will be hospital float pool staff and will be expected to float throughout the hospital. Nurses in this role will be caring for post surgical, medical, PCU stepdown on IP units and ER as hold patients. Competencies for these services as well as critical drips will be expected. Ratios are 1 : 4-1 : 6 depending on patient acuity. Vent management, intensive / critical care and ED experience PREFERRED so RN can be utilized fully as a float pool staff member Must have experience : Cardiac drips, TR band removal and Bipap usage, ACLS BLS, ENPC Preferred State License verification (if applicable) - within 30 days prior to start date Annual Nursys (RN, LPN / LVN, AP) within 30 days prior to start date Background Check required within 30 days of start 2 clinical references needed to meet Aya’s baseline RTO : MAX 7 days, Block Scheduling Not Guaranteed WEEKENDS : Every Other FLOATING : Within facility and to sister campus if needed HOLIDAYS : If one major holiday falls in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Unit does not accept first time travelers Competencies for these services as well as critical drips will be expected Photo ID Required Compliance : Full compliance required to start on time, if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
