Lead Applied Scientist (DS / ML) (San Francisco Bay Area)

Summary :

Mid-stage investment with offices in SF and NYC is looking to hire a Founding Applied Scientist (30% DS / 70% ML) with 6+ years industry experience and a strong background in statistical analysis, text understanding, ER, NLP, search, and LLM's. Must be able to own the full ML pipeline, so proficiency in Python is required. Ideal candidate will have started career in DS and then moved into ML afterward. Previous startup or team lead exp strongly valued.
