Responsible for fulfilling LADDs mission to empower adults with developmental disabilities to live work and connect; engages directly with developmentally disabled adults and their families based on their prescribed individual needs Reports To Chief Operating Officer

Summary :
The Program Director is part of the senior management team and is responsible for the planning development execution compliance and quality control of LADD programs.
Essential Functions
Program Leadership and Support
Collaboration and Communication
Compliance and Quality Assurance
Models The LADD Way (TLW)
Stays up to date on industry practices and ensures appropriate ongoing training of current staff
Keeps up-to-date on all relevant training and certifications
Additional Responsibilities
Assists with special projects as needed
Fills in for staff when necessary
Serves as an advocate for the organizations mission and programs in the community
Attends necessary seminars workshops and conferences related to newest requirements and rules / regulations applicable to the organization
Hires and trains staff as necessary
Education / Skills & Experience
Bachelors degree in a related field required
A minimum of 5 years of program management experience required
Experience working with people who have developmental disabilities and / or in the developmental disability system is a plus
Working knowledge of benefits received by those the organization serves (e.g. SSI SSD and Medicaid)
Demonstrated progressive supervisory skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software application platforms
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Work schedule will normally be Monday through Friday and may include weekends and / or evenings
Job will include being in an office environment as well as remote sites; and will require travel to other locations
