Experience in the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry is a significant plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor. Strong active listening skills and ability to empathize with customers. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screen
Job Summary / Company : Sparks Group is seeking Customer Service Representatives to support our client in Richmond, VA. This role is fully onsite and pays $16.50 / hr. Responsibilities :
- Answer inbound calls, emails, and other communication channels from customers regarding shipment status, tracking, delivery issues, pricing, and general inquiries.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information on freight movements, customs requirements, and logistics processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently and professionally, escalating complex problems to the appropriate department when necessary.
- Process and input customer orders, service requests, and data into the company's systems with a high degree of accuracy.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., operations, dispatch, sales) to ensure seamless service delivery and problem resolution.
- Educate customers on available services, service limitations, and best practices for shipping and logistics.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and efficiency.
- Additional tasks and duties as assigned
