An experienced tax professional with strong managerial experience and expertise in pass-through entity and corporate taxation. Manage complex tax engagements, oversee compliance, lead staff development, and serve as the primary client contact. Hiring immediately to support a growing regional tax practice. Raleigh, NC market on a hybrid schedule (23 days per week in office). To strengthen a dynamic tax team by providing leadership, technical expertise, and exceptional client service. Position Overview: The Tax Manager will manage client tax compliance needs, anticipate tax and business issues, and identify planning opportunities while guiding the professional growth of less experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities: Serve as primary client contact, managing workflows, deadlines, deliverables, and communications. Review complex tax returns across multiple industries, including tax provision work. Solve tax and business challenges for clients in manufacturing, real estate, professional services, and high-net-worth categories. Lead and mentor Tax Staff and Seniors in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Utilize strong project management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. Provide exceptional client service and recognize opportunities for value-added tax planning.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's preferred. Active CPA license required. 5+ years of public accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role. Strong understanding of pass-through entity structures and a general understanding of corporate taxation. Working knowledge of partnership taxation, especially regarding equity investments.
