[job_card.job_description]Ensure the finished Weld is in good working order and cosmetically up to standards. Inform maintenance when machinery breakdown occurs. Maintain a clean and safe work space. Other tasks as directed. Will conduct these responsibilities in a professional and timely manner. Able to work well with others. Always wear Proper PPE. Basic automotive and mechanical skills. Experience using basic power tools. Ability to weld MiG / TIG and wire feed. Able to work independently. Ability to work well with others. Attention to Detail.
Summary :
The primary function of this position is to Weld, Fabricate and re-work cases and housings. You will also be responsible for helping Drivetrain Technicians with Daily welding and Fabricating needs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Get direction from shop leads on priority of work.
- Perform re-work functions as described by Shop leads.
- Ability to weld Aluminum, Cast Iron, and Magnesium.
Work with Machinists on projects that require welding.
Requirements
Preferred Education and Experience :
Capable of using Plasma cutter and Torch.
