Dedmond and Tallent Dentistry is a well-established general dental practice in Lincolnton, NC, owned by  Dr. Brian Dedmond  and  Dr. John Dock Tallent . We are currently seeking a  skilled, motivated Certified Dental Assistant or DAII  to join our professional and efficient dental team.

Position Overview

This role is ideal for a dental assistant who is passionate about patient care, values teamwork, and takes pride in efficiency and professionalism. Our practice operates with minimal downtime, and team members are expected to contribute fully from clock-in to clock-out.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday :  7 : 50 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms and seat dental patients

Assist the dentist chairside during a wide range of general dentistry procedures

Take digital X-rays

Take impressions and pour models

Perform digital intraoral scanning (PrimeScan)

Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories

Complete electronic charting and patient notes using  Eaglesoft

Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked operatory and work areas

Qualifications

Certified Dental Assistant or  DAII  required

Minimum of 2 years of experience  in a general dentistry office strongly preferred

Experience with digital X-rays and intraoral scanning preferred

Familiarity with Eaglesoft is a plus

Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and team-player mindset

Excellent communication and patient care skills

Preference for candidates living in  Lincolnton or surrounding areas
