As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrol in Atlantic City, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a renowned hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with guests and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate : $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Thur 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Fri 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sat 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sun 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the hotel and resort location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting guests, staff, and visitors as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including guest areas, lobbies, and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and / or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with emergency response activities in alignment with site-specific protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to guests and staff.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
