An established environmental consulting firm is seeking a Professional Geologist (PG) to join its growing team in Queens, NY. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing and executing environmental projects, from site assessments to remediation, across a range of commercial and industrial properties. This position is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in both field and office settings, and who is passionate about protecting the environment through technical expertise and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental field investigations, including soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling .
- Perform Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and support remediation activities.
- Analyze environmental data and prepare comprehensive technical reports in accordance with state and federal standards.
- Provide consultative guidance on environmental conditions, regulations, and site remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure timely and successful project completion.
- Oversee and mentor junior staff on field techniques, safety, and reporting protocols.
Qualifications : Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).Professional Geologist (PG) license is required.Minimum 5+ years of experience in environmental site assessment and remediation.Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations .Proven experience conducting field investigations and data interpretation .Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports.Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, and environmental data management software is an advantage.Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.Why is This a Great Opportunity :
