Secure Base Counseling Center (SBCC) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated graduate level clinical intern to join our team as a mental health therapist. Logistics :

Position : Graduate Level Clinical Intern

Location : Farmington, Northfield or New Prague, MN

Type : Part-time (flexible scheduling with after school or evening hours required)

Compensation : $2500 stipend per semester available

Duration : Ability to commit to a minimum of 6 months is highly desired

Position Details :

Learn from other therapists through shadowing opportunities

Carry a caseload of therapy clients in one of our outpatient clinics

Learn how to work with clients of all ages and backgrounds

Provide systemic, trauma-informed care through an attachment lens

Learn how to write diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes that meet DHS standards

Grow professionally through a supportive, reflective supervisor relationship

Qualifications :

Enrolled in a master's program in Counseling, Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy

Strong communication skills and a commitment to client-centered care

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to work at multiple locations throughout the week as dictated by client needs

Application Process :

We are currently accepting applications from potential interns for the spring and summer semesters of the 2025 - 2026 school year.

Intern applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year.

Once you have applied, expect to hear from SBCC within 48 hours to schedule an interview with our internship coordinator. Interviews can be completed in person or via telehealth.
