Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

Location : Bronx, NY 10467 (Confidential Healthcare Facility)

Schedule : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM

3 shifts per week
11.5 hours / day
34.5 hours / week

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a Telemetry Unit at a reputable healthcare facility in the Bronx, NY. The RN will deliver comprehensive nursing care, monitor patients requiring cardiac telemetry, and ensure safe and effective clinical outcomes in accordance with professional standards and facility policies.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor, assess, and interpret cardiac rhythms for patients on telemetry.

Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with provider orders and protocols.

Perform IV insertions, IV therapy, and phlebotomy as needed.

Assist with and manage patients undergoing conscious sedation procedures.

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.

Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.

Educate and support patients and families regarding treatments and care plans.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Active New York State RN License (primary source verified).

ASN or ADN from an accredited nursing program.

Minimum 1+ year of Medical / Surgical experience.

Minimum 1+ year of Telemetry experience.

2+ years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience.

2+ years of conscious sedation experience.

Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.

Compensation

Local Candidates : $2,300 per week

Travelers : $2,600 per week
