Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,136 per week in Kalamazoo, MI

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Critical Care Float Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum 1 year required License : Valid Michigan license required Certifications : ACLS (AHA), BCLS (AHA) Must-Have : - Both Med Surg and Critical Care / ICU checklists included on applications - Candidates must be comfortable with Med Surg and ICU patient ratios Description : Desired start is 12 / 29 or 01 / 12. Candidates must confirm awareness of the following patient ratios : Med Surg : 4-6 patients to 1 Nurse. ICU : 2-3 patients to 1 Nurse. This is a float position. Med Surg float nurses will float to various designated units. Critical Care float nurses will float to designated Critical Care units and Med Surg units as needed. Availability for the first two weeks of the assignment is required for orientation. 36 hours guaranteed per week, with the option to pick up additional shifts if desired. Every other weekend is required. A block schedule cannot be guaranteed. Only one holiday request is allowed, either for one day or one evening / day after. Minimum of 1 year of experience is required. First-year travelers are welcome. Completion of required vaccination documentation is necessary. Background policy must be noted prior to submission. Proof of flu vaccination must be included with the application. If seeking a vaccine exemption, it must be submitted within 48 hours of accepting the contract.
