We are looking for a friendly and customer-focused Guest Services Representative to support our perioperative team. This role helps keep patients and caregivers informed, assists with patient flow, and ensures a positive experience throughout the recovery and discharge process.
Key Responsibilities
Communication & Hospitality
- Greet and assist caregivers upon arrival.
- Provide updates on patient status.
- Escort caregivers to Stage 2 recovery when needed.
- Help maintain a clean and welcoming waiting area.
Patient Flow Support
Track patient movement between recovery areas.Keep accurate logs and documentation.Alert nursing staff to delays or if a caregiver cannot be located.Team Support
Assist nurses by handling non-clinical communication tasks.Participate in daily huddles.Report any issues affecting patient flow.Qualifications
Customer service or hospitality experience required; healthcare experience preferred.Strong communication and people skills.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.Basic computer skills and understanding of confidentiality / HIPAA.Comfortable working around patients and caregivers.Why Work With Us
