Although nights and weekends are required, the average number of patients per day per provider is manageable, with an emphasis on clinic and OR cases._x000D x000D_You'll have the opportunity to join an established practice alongside an existing surgeon, allowing for collaboration and a supportive work environment. Notably, there are no ICU / critical care duties or codes to worry about._x000D x000D_Furthermore, you'll have access to ECU Health and air and ground support for immediate patient transfers. Our system-wide EMR (EPIC) ensures efficient record-keeping._x000D x000D_Procedures required for this position encompass emergent general surgery cases, including appendectomy and cholecystectomy.
