About The Position

  • A hospital in Kentucky is seeking a Board-Certified OB / GYN physician to provide locum coverage.
  • The role involves inpatient obstetrics and gynecology services, including deliveries, C-sections, and emergency call coverage.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide 24-hour call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology patients.
  • Manage routine and complicated deliveries, including VBACs and C-sections.
  • Perform necessary surgical procedures such as repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations.
  • Collaborate with midwives who deliver their own patients.
  • Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR.

  • Board Certified in OB / GYN - Required
  • Active Kentucky License or IMLC - Required
  • Active DEA - Required
  • BLS Certified - Required
  • COVID vaccination - Preferred
