Position : Perm - Physician - Anesthesiology

Overview :
Henry Ford Health System is seeking a highly qualified, full-time Anesthesiologist with Critical Care fellowship training to join our dynamic team at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital, a Level 2 Trauma Center in Jackson, Michigan. Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver comprehensive anesthesia services across a variety of settings, including the operating room, obstetrics, and pediatric cases.
- Provide 8 to 12 weeks of dedicated service annually in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), including home call coverage.
- Lead and collaborate with a growing team of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in managing complex postoperative patients recovering from cardiac surgery, major vascular procedures, and TAVR.
- Share anesthesia call duties proportionally based on ICU coverage requirements.
- Participate actively in clinical decision-making, protocol development, and multidisciplinary care coordination.
- Engage in teaching and mentoring residents and APPs, fostering a culture of clinical excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Record and document patient care seamlessly using Epic EMR.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and departmental policies in a fast-paced trauma center setting.
Qualifications :
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.Critical Care fellowship training strongly preferred.Valid DEA certification.Current BLS, PALS, and ABLS certifications.Candidates must be available to start ASAP.H1B and J1 Visa candidates are welcomed.Not suitable for locum / locum-to-perm candidates, or those with lapsed board certification.Candidates must be willing to commute within one hour of Jackson, MI, and prefer consistent shift schedules as described.Conditions of Employment :
