Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, is currently looking to hire a Maintenance Manager for our Fort Worth, TX plant. In this role, the Maintenance Manager will supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in setting-up, installing, repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment and fabricating metal parts and tools.

What You'll Do :

• Monitor and control maintenance department operating, staffing and maintenance costs within established budget and guidelines
• Plan and manage the maintenance department work schedule to ensure there is effective support across all shifts in a 24 / 7 operation.
• Coordinate procedures, equipment maintenance priorities, repair and installation work on a regular basis in conjunction with Production Supervisors and Production Manager
• Analyze and estimate cost on various maintenance and repair projects
• Prepare capital investment requests and justifications
• Ensure all department objectives are in compliance with Arcosa's policies and all safety, health and environmental government regulations are followed
• Prepare and conduct performance appraisals and evaluations for direct reports according to Company guidelines
• Initiate requisitions of all shop supplies and repair parts
• Coordinate with Safety Manager, Production Manager, Production Supervisors and Plant Manager the implementation of safety procedures and ensure equipment safety
• Develop and maintain a Preventative Maintenance Program using the Upkeep reliability system
• Implement and maintain necessary departmental procedures and records for efficient operations.
• Ensure record keeping accuracy of all logs for maintenance of cranes, mobile equipment and any other procedures or equipment records OSHA requires
• Assist and direct workers in dismantling, assembling and installing industrial machinery
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product
• Perform root cause analysis and FMEA to reduce breakdown frequency
