Emmy Squared Shaw is hiring Line Cooks to join our team and help deliver exceptional dining experiences! As part of the Pizza Loves Emily Restaurant Group, Emmy Squared is a growing upscale casual full-service restaurant brand known for our Detroit-style pizza, award-winning burgers, and commitment to quality, creativity, and hospitality.

Your Role as a Line Cook :

As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. You will :

  • Prepare all menu items with precision, consistency, and adherence to recipes.
  • Maintain sanitation standards that meet health department guidelines.
  • Organize and uphold assigned kitchen workstations.
  • Coordinate food production to align with service hours, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Practice safe food handling and proper storage techniques.
  • Report maintenance and repair needs for kitchen equipment to management.
  • Keep work areas clean and equipment well-maintained.
  • Perform other back-of-house duties as assigned by management.

    • What You Bring to the Table :

  • At least 1 year of experience as a line cook in a full-service restaurant.
  • Knowledge of modern cooking techniques; pizza expertise is a plus!
  • A passion for food and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Calm and welcoming demeanor, even under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Physical capability to lift / carry up to 40 lbs., push / pull up to 75 lbs., and stand for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with culinary tools and the ability to taste and smell for quality assurance.
