[job_card.job_description]Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM 5 weekend shifts required in 6-week schedule period Must take 1-2 on-call shifts per schedule Required to float to offsite emergency departments as needed Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CPI Minimum 2 years emergency department experience required Must have Level I or II trauma center experience EPIC experience and previous travel experience highly preferred Work in 73-room emergency department plus 24 hallway beds Handle approximately 350 patients per day Provide care for stroke, STEMI, and trauma patients Medically clear psychiatric patients for admission Use sitters for suicidal patients with security support available Work holiday schedule including 1 major and 1 minor holiday Float to Fairfax City location (10 beds, ~40 patients / day) or Reston / Herndon location (7 beds, ~25 patients / day) Referral bonus
