Permanent Part-Time RDH - Registered Dental Hygienist position in a Fairfield, California general dental practice. This office is looking for 2-3 days to be filled with the availability of Monday & Tuesday 830-530 and Wednesday 630-2. #1507

Duties and Responsibilities

-Perform hygiene clinical procedures, including oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling

and root planing, sealants, fluoride, oral cancer screenings and x-rays

-Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene, as well as instructions and demonstrations of

effective oral hygiene methods

-Communicate with doctor where there are opportunities in patients for restorative and/or

periodontal needs

-Obtain and review dental history and/or records from patient (review patient health history and care

slips) and ensure health history is updated for all returning patients

Qualifications

Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license
