As a Part Time Medical Surgical Nurse Float, you will deliver direct patient care in accordance with established policies and protocols. Your expertise will play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for patients and their families through comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs.

Your Responsibilities Will Include :

• Implementing medical-surgical nursing standards to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Building strong relationships with patients and their families to create personalized care plans.
• Utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care effectively.
• Understanding and addressing various dimensions of health in your care strategies.
• Leading collaborative efforts with interprofessional teams to meet patient needs and set care goals.
• Educating patients and families about health maintenance and comfort measures.
• Fostering a positive work environment by mentoring colleagues and students.
• Staying informed on evidence-based practices to deliver age-appropriate care.
• Maintaining a safe and alert environment while delivering care.
