Job Description

The role is office based / hybrid located in Foster City California reporting to the Associate General Counsel Oncology.

Gilead Sciences is seeking a Senior Counsel to join our team of Legal Business Partners in Oncology. The Oncology Legal Business Partner is responsible for providing legal support in relation to the development and commercialization of Gileads Oncology portfolio and other investigational assets.
Basic Qualifications :
Juris Doctorate from a nationally accredited law school.
Admission to the California state bar registration as in-house counsel or ability to gain admission or registration for either within 90 days.
6years prior in-house or law firm experience providing legal counsel on the laws and regulations relating to drugs or devices demonstrating growth and ability to succeed.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented and well-organized

The salary range for this position is : $226185.00 - $292710.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation including experience qualifications and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role) paid time off and a benefits package.
