We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This role requires a strong technical background in enterprise networking, as well as the ability to lead, mentor, and support a team of engineers in achieving operational goals and completing projects. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in network design, troubleshooting, and security, with a focus on delivering efficient and reliable solutions.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and support the Network Operations Engineering team in achieving daily objectives, completing projects, and meeting strategic goals.
• Assess incoming technical requests and provide recommendations to management for planning and implementation.
• Organize and prioritize project tasks, service tickets, and escalations assigned to the engineering team.
• Evaluate systems, tools, and procedures for improvements and participate in strategic planning with IT leadership.
• Ensure team members adhere to established processes, policies, and maintenance routines.
• Perform hands-on technical assignments to resolve complex network issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Mentor and guide team members, offering constructive feedback to enhance performance and expertise.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve network alerts, logging events, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with management to address additional responsibilities and initiatives as needed.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering.
• Advanced understanding of enterprise networking, including SD-WAN, Cisco ISE, and Cisco ACI.
• Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting firewalls and software-defined networking platforms.
• Solid knowledge of security practices, including access controls, traffic analysis, and investigation techniques.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server / Desktop environments and Active Directory services.
• Ability to interpret network performance metrics and implement solutions for optimization.
• Experience with identity management, policy enforcement, and packet inspection tools.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to recommend and implement technical solutions effectively.
