Title : Controls Engineer

Location : Indianapolis, IN

Shift : Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Compensation : $35 - $40hr ( depending on years of experience)

Interview process : One round interview

Day to day

Insight Global is looking for a System Controls Engineer with HVAC controls programming experience or related programming experience on a PLC for example. Will program HVAC software within a BAS software. This engineer will support our large HVAC customer in support of their large pharmaceutical customer in Indiana with multiple locations. Will ensure that the hardware and software are running in accordance to the sequence. Mechanical or Electrical engineering background preferred. 90% of this job is performed onsite at a corporate office building behind a computer screen.

Must haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering field OR equivalent relevant experience
• HVAC controls programming or BMS / BAS programming OR PLC programming from scratch experience
• Ability to train in BAS programming if they have PLC programming experience or HVAC technician experience, with the ability to pick up programming and understanding of HVAC hardware
• Local and available to go onsite in Castleton area mostly
• HVAC equipment understanding (can read and interpret a sequence of operation or layout)
