Job Description:

Pay Range: $20hr - $25hr

Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repair on facility structures, machinery, equipment, and grounds.
  • Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance needs.
  • Perform trades work such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
  • Follow blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
  • Identify problems and issues in straightforward situations and escalate when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to provide updates or request guidance.
  • Follow established processes and safety standards while completing tasks.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/Associates Degree with 0–2 years of experience.
  • Basic knowledge of applicable standards, safety regulations, and trade practices.
  • Ability to perform tasks across multiple trades.
Skills:
  • Developing technical knowledge in building and facility maintenance.
  • Ability to identify problems and perform routine troubleshooting.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration within the team.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under general supervision.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience.
  • 2 years post-secondary with 0–2 years of experience.
