City of Fort Wayne – Water Pollution Control Plant

Position : Industrial Electrical Technician

Pay : $31.00 – $36.50 per hour

Schedule : 7 : 00 a.m. – 3 : 00 p.m.

Location : Fort Wayne, IN

What You'll Do :

• Troubleshoot, program, calibrate, and repair equipment and automated systems at the Filtration and WPC Plant
• Work with PLCs, SCADA, VFDs, telemetry, instrumentation, and electrical / electronic systems
• Design, install, and maintain electrical circuits and control systems
• Assist with capital improvement projects, budgeting, and planning
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on low and medium voltage systems
• Maintain fiber optic networks and process / computer systems
• Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code and City safety regulations
• Train and assist other employees as needed
• Remain on-call for emergencies
