Job Overview

We are looking to immediately hire a Florida Licensed Journeyman Electrician. We are located in Clearwater, FL. Our ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and wiring. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and benefit packages!

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and regulations
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical systems using tools such as voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion
  • Renovate existing electrical systems as needed to improve efficiency or comply with updated safety standards
  • Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure proper functioning
  • Replace electrical panels
  • Utilize power tools safely and effectively
  • Underground locating and piping

Experience

  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification
  • Verifiable experience working as an Electrician
  • Knowledge of NEC guidelines and commercial electrical systems
  • Familiarity with high voltage systems and safety protocols associated with their use
  • Proficiency in frame carpentry for renovation projects
