Position Overview :
We’re seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive Polymaker’s 2026 expansion initiative, particularly in the Print Farm sector. You will focus on identifying, acquiring, and scaling partnerships with large print farms across the U.S. and Canada. This role emphasizes new customer acquisition, outbound sales, competitive positioning, and building long-term, high-volume material supply relationships.
The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys building new relationships from the ground up, and has strong commercial instincts suited for fast growth.
Key Responsibilities : 1. New Business Generation
- Identify, prioritize, and segment print farm prospects across North America.
- Execute outbound outreach—including calls, emails, visits, and event networking.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Deliver persuasive sales pitches tailored to print farm workflows and constraints.
2. Print Farm Market Penetration (2026 Strategy)
Understand print farm production operations, material consumption, and cost drivers.Position Polymaker materials, spool systems, and pallet-scale supply programs for high-volume users.Develop custom pricing structures and proposals for competitive wins.Maintain intelligence on competitor activities and conduct win / loss analysis.3. Sales Execution
Own the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting → qualification → trial → closing.Coordinate with supply chain and operations to support trials, sampling, and pallet deliveries.Collaborate with marketing on print farm-focused assets, demos, and case studies.Maintain accurate CRM reporting, forecasting, and account notes.4. Partnerships & Field Activities
Attend tradeshows, maker events, and industry meetups to build regional networks.Build referral pipelines with printer manufacturers, integrators, and service partners.Conduct onsite visits to assess production setups and advise material optimizations.Qualifications : Experience :
2–5 years in business development, field sales, or B2B new logo acquisition.Experience selling into manufacturing, production, or hardware industries.Preferred : Experience with print farms, service bureaus, or additive manufacturing.Skills :
Strong outbound prospecting and lead-generation capabilities.Excellent storytelling, pitching, and negotiation skills.High resilience and ability to operate in fast-changing environments.Strong CRM discipline and pipeline management.Ability to travel 20–40%.Preferred Skills :
