Pay : $26.00 – $27.88 / hour

Schedule : Monday–Friday; 8AM–5PM

Location : 2400 SW 145th Ave, Suite 300, Miramar, FL 33027

Overview

The Payroll Administrator is responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing and reporting. This role ensures compliance with payroll laws and regulations, calculates earnings and adjustments, and manages payroll-related procedures to support organizational accuracy and efficiency.

Job Description

Perform daily payroll department operations.

Manage workflow to ensure payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.

Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate reports.

Understand proper taxation of employer-paid benefits.

Calculate and process garnishments in compliance with regulations.

Execute Kronos time and attendance processing and interface with payroll.

Perform compliance for unclaimed property payroll checks.

Process manual checks when required.

Load and reconcile import files received from divisional payroll teams.

Research file issues and communicate findings to appropriate stakeholders.

Prepare divisional payroll reports weekly to ensure gross-to-net balancing.

Research and resolve payroll issues for assigned division(s).

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Skills

Strong attention to detail in fast-paced environments.

Degree and / or three years of related payroll experience (or equivalent education / experience).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations.

Experience with SAP software and HRIS systems such as Kronos.

Knowledge of payroll in multi-company environments.

Education Requirements

Degree in a related field and / or equivalent combination of education and experience.
