Position Summary :
The industrial engineer optimizes operational systems and processes to improve efficiency, productivity and overall performance
Job Responsibilities :
- Designs efficient production processes and workflows and addresses production issues
- Reduces waste and addresses safety and other production issues.
- Ensures that processes are designed to meet safety and quality standards
- Analyzes data to forecast trends and implement improvements in production processes
- Implements controls to monitor costs and minimize production issues
- Collaborates with cross functional teams and other departments to design, develop and implement production standards and solutions
- Helps to develop instruction manuals for production personnel.
- Generates process documentation and reports
- Performs additional duties as assigned to support overall objectives within the engineering and production teams

Knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards in the industryUnderstanding of lean manufacturing and supply-chain managementCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsData analytics skills and experienceAttention to detailOrganization, planning and project management skillsStrong communicationAbility to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneouslyExperience using computer-aided design (CAD) platformsEducation / Experience Requirements :
