Sterile Processing Technician

Sterile Processing Tech at Shore Outpatient Surgicenter The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
• Experience with all types of sterilizers
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed Pay Range : $23.00 / hr - $28.00 / hr (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications and experience.)
