Description

: Additional Information About the Position for Qualified Candidates

  • Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • Up to 80 hours of front-loaded Paid Time Off
  • Up to $3,000 Relocation bonus

Job Summary

  • Provides in-home evaluation, direction and application of Occupational Therapy Services to retrain damaged nerve pathways and / or teach compensation utilizing remaining abilities.

    • Job Requirements

    Education

  • Graduate of approved Occupational Therapy Program; or Eligibility for National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association; or Two (2) years occupational therapy experience and satisfactory grade on proficiency exam conducted, approved, or sponsored by U.S. Public Health Service. (N / A if licensed or sought qualification as an OT after December 31, 1977.)

    • Experience

  • Preferred : 1 year Occupational Therapy experience.

    • Skills

  • Ability to provide reliable transportation as required by nature of position.

    • Licensure / Certification / Registration

  • Required : License of Occupational Therapy active in the state of Missouri
  • Required : BLS must be obtained within 90 days
  • Required : Active Driver's License

    • Education : ▪ Required : Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program ▪ Preferred : Masters or Doctorate from an accredited program of Occupational Therapy

    Experience : ▪ No prior experience required

    Skills : ▪ Good clinical expertise, communication skills, human relations skills and organizational skills required. ▪ Self-motivated individual who can work independently with little direct supervision required ▪ Has demonstrated interest in professional growth by attendance at continuing education workshops, and applications of new principles and / or techniques.

    Licensure / Certification / Registration : ▪ Required :  Active Missouri licensure for Occupational Therapy. (Limited permits not accepted)
