My client is looking for a Tooling Rework Technician, This Client has a tremendous amount of growth opportunities especially at this time and also a great time for the holidays as they are in their overtime schedule. Their regular hours for this position is :

6 : 00am-2 : 30pm Mon- Fri ( overtime schedule is until 4 : 30pm and a half-day on Saturday)

Position Overview (Description)

Ability to operate various machines and equipment including but not limited to Cylindrical grinders, surface grinders, bridge ports, bench grinders, induction unit, Gas torch, belt sander and sandblaster.

Major Areas of Responsibility –

Rework tools per process sheet specification.

Prioritize work load by following weekly color-coding system.

Machine Maintenance.

Primary Objectives –

Meet or exceed quality standards and estimated labor.

Limit scrap rate.

Specific Responsibilities of the position –

• Maintain your equipment and keep your area clean and organized.
• There are five main processes within the tooling rework department, incoming inspection, disassemble clean and detach, gluing, OD grinding and final inspection.
• Follow all procedures and work instruction specific to the process WI-TL-001, WI-TL-002, WI-TL-003, WI-TL-004, WI-TL-005, WI-TL-006, WI-TL-007, WI-TL-007, WI-TL-008

Required Skills and Abilities –

Operate equipment.

Print reading.

Measuring equipment, able to use and understand dial indicators, calipers, micrometers, depth micrometer.

In process inspection, the ability to hold 0.010 tolerances on taper and roundness per process sheet.

Key skills

This is a full time direct hire with benefits eligible the first day of the month after the start date.
