Description
AWS is seeking an experienced Principal Strategic Account Manager to lead and continue to expand the business with one of our company's largest and most innovative customers.
The Strategic Account Manager will be a key member of the team responsible for providing business leadership and creative direction for this highly visible customer. You will build and maintain broad relationships in the account, develop and manage opportunities, and lead a large team of extended resources. You will define the executive relationship strategy within the account; including building a strong working relationship with the AWS senior leadership team for executive sponsorship, executive business reviews, and shaping go-to-market opportunities.
Key job responsibilities
Increase technology adoption and creating long term transformational account strategies
Build strategic relationships within the account and articulate a clear vision with impact across all business groups
Identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects to global business units
Work will all appropriate AWS resources (Executives, Solutions Architects, Business Development, Partners, and Professional Services)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $153,000 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $252,900 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
