Security Officer - Unarmed Transportation Patrol

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic transportation location, where you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This position involves driving responsibilities as you monitor different areas, interact with the public, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate : $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any irregularities as required.
  • Communicate and collaborate with team members and site personnel to support security-related operations and maintain a visible presence.
  • Document and report incidents, observations, and / or maintenance issues encountered during patrols according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist in guiding and directing individuals within the facility as needed, providing information and support in a courteous manner.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
