If you are seeking a dynamic night shift role that offers variety, challenge, and growth within a single hospital, our Internal Float Pool is for you! You will rotate between ED Boarding, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU support units at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. Each shift presents new experiences and opportunities to enhance your clinical skills.
What You'll Do :
Float between Med / Surg, Telemetry, ED Boarding, and ICU support unitsDeliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentAdapt quickly to different unit workflows while maintaining clinical excellenceWhat We're Looking For :
Experience : Minimum 18 months of Med / Surg or Telemetry RN experience ( 2 years preferred )Flexibility : Ability to meet the following per 6-week schedule :2 Fridays2 Mondays1 WeekendTraining & Skills :
RNs receive training in :ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Join our Internal Float Pool and make a difference every day. Your responsibilities will include :
Providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to ensure safe, therapeutic environments.Applying evidence-based practice and skilled communication to enhance the patient experience.Evaluating patient needs to form individualized care plans and collaborating with healthcare teams.Proactively addressing changes in a patient’s condition, ensuring a responsive care strategy.Implementing strategies to enhance patient safety and education about care.Coordinating discharge plans through an interdisciplinary approach.Engaging in continuous quality improvement initiatives to elevate patient care standards.Licenses & Certifications :
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Degrees :
Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing.
Required Functional Experience :
Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Ability to deliver holistic patient care, make critical decisions, and maintain effective communication skills while managing organizational tasks in a collaborative environment.
Certification Addendum :
Team members are required to meet annual educational standards for hospital-based certifications (e.g. DNV, CARF or others).
