A locally owned and nationally recognized Printing, Signage and Marketing Services company in the East Longmeadow MA is looking for an experienced Bindery Operator.

This is where our Production Team comes in!

Our Bindery Operator works closely with our Customer Service Team and our Sales Team, providing support with the goal of increasing sales and customer satisfaction.

Responsibility Overview :

Perform bindery function as noted on work order / job tickets. This may include : folding, cutting, padding, numbering, GBC punching, spiral or coil binding, collating, scoring, perforating, drilling, stitching or stapling, laminating and wrapping.

Establish priorities by dates on work order / job tickets and when necessary, priorities set by management.

Package jobs, complete job tickets / work orders and delivery receipts as necessary and place in designated areas.

Arrange for delivery or shipping of items as needed using shipper designated on work order / job ticket.

Pull control file copy of work order / job ticket for delivered jobs daily and process remaining documents.

Fulfillment kitting

Keep equipment clean, lubricated and operable.

Order supplies required using proper procedures.

Skills we are looking for :

Previous experience, minimum of 1 year.

Familiar with Folders, Collators, Cutters.

Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).

Team player that can work with others to deliver a project on time.

Attention to detail, display ability to detect product defects and inconsistencies through visual inspection.

Ability to multitask.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Basic computer knowledge, email, data entry, etc.

Capable of lifting 50lbs.

Skills desired, but not required :

Comply with all OSHA requirements.

Familiar with basic software : ie Microsoft Office.

Experience with PrintSmith.

Competitive compensation / hourly $18.25-$26 based on experience
