Description :

Med / Surg / Telemetry floor experience is required.

First-time travelers are accepted.

No more than 4 days of requested time off per 6 weeks.

Time off must be made up at the end of the contract.

Manager will interview candidates.

Candidates must float within scope if needed.

Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics.

Daily census ranges from 15 to 18 patients.

Candidates will manage a variety of medical diagnoses, including pneumonia, COPD, CHF, diabetes, and acute respiratory failure.

Surgical cases include total joints, amputations, and GI surgeries.

Special procedures may include chest tube insertions and paracentesis.

Candidates must be comfortable with isolation precautions and various medical equipment.

Physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy support are available.

Candidates must comply with natural nail policies and fingerprinting requirements for specific cases.

Completion of assigned modules during orientation is mandatory.
