Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrols in Sunnyvale, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with the public, providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help protect people and property.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when required.
  • Remain alert to unusual activities or conditions that may indicate a security-related concern.
  • Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and site-specific guidelines while carrying a firearm on duty.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
