Summary : Takes, retrieves and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages courteously and efficiently according to job specification. Answers guest questions and provides outstanding guest service.
Essential Functions :
- Inspect cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas; rectify any deficiencies.
- Greet guests and take their orders. Anticipate guest’s needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers and non alcoholic selections available.
- Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by the state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minor and intoxicated persons.
- Be familiar with all hotel services / features and provide information to guests, as needed
- Answers guest questions, as needed
- Legibly document orders when POS is down and distribute orders to respective Bartender for preparation of order.
- Retrieve orders from Bar area and serve promptly to guests
- Replace ashtrays within the Pit with 4 butts with clean ashtray by using capping method.
- Follow all Clark County Health Codes.
- Other duties as assigned.
