A retail pharmacist opportunity is available to support a boutique pharmacy specializing in wellness products. This role requires active involvement in verifying prescriptions and providing patient counseling in a high-volume setting, dispensing approximately 100-150 prescriptions per day. The position supports a flexible, part-time scheduleideally two days per week, with preferred days being Tuesday and Wednesday.

Location : Huntington Station, NY

Schedule :

  • Flexible days, 2x per week (preference for Tuesday and Wednesday)
  • Pharmacy hours : Monday-Friday, 9 : 00 AM 6 : 00 PM; Saturday, 9 : 00 AM 3 : 00 PM; Sunday closed

Qualifications :

  • NY State Pharmacist License, active and in good standing
  • Local candidates only, preferably residing in Suffolk County for commuting ease
  • Ability to pass background and drug screenings

    • Responsibilities :

  • Accurately verify prescriptions ensuring safety and compliance
  • Educate and counsel patients on medication usage and wellness products
  • Maintain pharmacy operations efficiently in a boutique retail environment

    • This contract opportunity offers a competitive salary range of $55-$60 per hour and the chance to work in a dynamic pharmacy setting blending traditional dispensing with wellness retail.
