  • This is an on-site position that can be based out of our Salt Lake City, UT Home Delivery Center OR our Las Vegas, NV Home Delivery Center. The role will provide coverage for both locations.

A day in the life as a Cross Dock Home Delivery Customer Service Coordinator...

  • Maximize company growth and profitability by overseeing all aspects of Crate and Barrel operations in a third-party run cross-dock to ensure the highest level of service to area stores and customers
  • Coordinate meetings and communication between the cross-dock, stores, drivers, and the Distribution Center to maintain the highest level of service
  • Study reporting data that measures delivery effectiveness and implement process changes as necessary
  • Be familiar with routing and dispatching functions at service centers in order to expedite all deliveries
  • Be responsible for driver procedure compliance to our delivery training program, doing ride-a-longs and / or ride behind to observe delivery teams
  • Work with stores to review product displayed to ensure that product delivered represents current stock, as well as understand inherent characteristics
  • Promote a culture of respect and an atmosphere of teamwork in order to foster a positive working environment
  • Interact with the stores and regional warehouse, to provide accurate order processing and service levels for the distribution of merchandise
  • Act as a liaison between stores and service providers to be responsive to customer needs and requests
  • Develop and maintain a relationship with stores and customer service managers, and participate in store CS meetings, following up with notes
  • Develop an understanding of the culture and operations of service providers
  • Observe delivery operations and inspect all product prior to delivery or pick-up
  • Provide periodic audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Review and publish reports for invoicing, auditing, claims / chargebacks, and metrics reporting.
  • Follow the loss prevention and security guidelines to minimize inventory shrinkage and profit loss
  • Abide by the established dependability guidelines to maintain business productivity

  • High School diploma / GED or equivalent required; Higher education in related field a plus
  • Proven proficiency in English language skills required
  • Word, Excel, Outlook required
  • Basic math required
