Information Systems Security Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Information Systems Security Analyst to submit as key personnel on an upcoming opportunity in Dahlgren Virginia.  Upon award this role will be part of a critical team responsible for Cybersecurity and Information Assurance Management support.  Key duties will include :

• Implement and maintain Cybersecurity controls processes and procedures for SCSTC systems in accordance with DoD DON and SCSTC Cybersecurity policies.
• Conduct Cybersecurity assessments site visits and inspections; review STIG / VRAM status vulnerability scans and system logs; develop recommendations to mitigate vulnerabilities and improve security posture.
• Support the full RMF A&A lifecycle including development and maintenance of RMF artifacts assessment plans and reports POA&Ms and risk recommendations.
• Provide continuous monitoring of network and system activity; triage and escalate security incidents; support containment remediation and afteraction analysis.
• Advise security and IT leadership on risk posture and ensure documentation of all security operations and maintenance activities.
