Head of Data

A company is looking for a Head of Data to lead and advance its data strategy and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Define and drive the data vision and roadmap across analytics, infrastructure, governance, and personalization

Partner with cross-functional leaders to translate high-leverage questions into measurable metrics and guide decision-making

Lead and mentor a small team while managing the end-to-end analytics lifecycle, including metric definition and data quality

Required Qualifications

7-10+ years in data-focused roles in analytics and / or data engineering, preferably in high-growth startups or fintech

Proven ability to operate as a senior individual contributor while leading a small team

Deep expertise in SQL, data modeling, and analytics best practices

Strong experience with data pipelines and warehousing solutions, including AWS-based infrastructure

Comfort in ambiguity and a strong product and business mindset focused on impact
