Opportunity Overview :

Join a leading healthcare institution in Hartford, Connecticut as a Locum Hematology / Oncology Physician to provide vital inpatient consults and outpatient clinic care. This is a fantastic opportunity to practice within a collaborative, well-supported team while enjoying a stable weekday schedule with minimal weekend and night call responsibilities. Local providers are strongly preferred for fast onboarding and easy integration into the team.

Assignment Details :

Start Date : As soon as credentialed (approx. 130 days from offer acceptance)

Schedule :

3 Clinic Days / week (Mon Fri, 8 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM)

Infrequent weekend (2 3 per year) and weeknight call (1 : 10)

Setting : Inpatient Consults + Outpatient Clinic

Patient Volume :

15 / day in outpatient clinic

10 / day in hospital consults

EMR : Epic

Trauma Level : Level I

Team Structure :

10 Physicians + 8 APPs

Strong team-based support for continuity of care

Focused on adult and geriatric population (no internal medicine or pediatrics)

Clinical Focus :

80% Hematology / 20% Oncology

Standard case mix across both settings

Support from APPs and experienced clinical staff

Requirements :

Board Certified in Hematology / Oncology Required

Active Connecticut Medical License at Submission No Exceptions

Local Providers Only (No Flights) Highly Preferred
